Nexxt Spine Expands Product Offering with the Launch of the Facet Fixx™ Screw System

Nexxt Spine LLC has announced the U.S. controlled market release of the Facet Fixx™ Screw System after receiving 510(k) clearance from the United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA)

Nexxt Spine LLC, a privately held spinal implant and instrumentation manufacturer, announced today the launch of the FACET FIXX™ Screw System intended to provide stabilization and fixation during traditional or minimally invasive lumbar spinal fusion procedures by two different fixation methods:

FACET FIXX™-TF: provides multiple diameter, fully threaded and partially threaded (lag) screws with a double lead helical thread and multi-axial compression washer to increase the load-bearing area of the screw to assist surgeons achieve rigid fixation and compression of facet joints for transfacet pedicular fixation.

FACET FIXX™-TL: provides multiple diameter, fully threaded and partially threaded (lag) screws with a double lead helical thread inserted bilaterally through the superior side of the facet, across the facet joint and into the inferior pedicle for translaminar facet fixation.
